The weather From June to September the weather can be quite hot during the day, and pleasant early in the mornings and in the evenings. There is plenty of shade and often a cooling breeze. After mid-September the weather can break with the occasional thunderstorm. The sea
is at its warmest in September and October, and the weather is still
very pleasant and warm at this time of year. |

Food - The dining area is a covered terrace, with
views of the sea. Menus are drawn from Turkey’s rich culinary traditions and centuries-old village food preparation methods. To these we add the know-how of contemporary international wholefood cuisine. Turkey is famous for its range of vegetarian fare. Meze is the collective name given to a wide range of small dishes, i.e. biber dolmasi green peppers stuffed with rice raisins and pine nuts, sigara boregi cheese filled pastry rolls, saksuka aubergine, tomatoes and hot peppers in olive oil. We serve breakfast after morning yoga and dinner after the evening session. A vegan option is available on request. A typical Turkish breakfast at Yuva consists of: home-baked breads, tahini, bulghur porridge, local mountain honey, yoghurt, fresh fruit, homemade jam, eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, olives, tea or herb tea.
Breakfast and dinner every day are included in the price. Spring water and teas are served with meals. Other drinks are not included and are available to purchase, prices are reasonable. Lunches are available to order and cost about £5. |

Remember to pack (lightly) Clothes - you will spend most of the day in yoga clothes or a bathing costume unless you are out on 'walk-about'. A sunhat is a good idea. Evening are relaxing and casual. Shoes - the terrain here is rough so please pack sandals and shoes that are appropriate. Toiletries - you are a long way from the shops. Pack everything you will need in the way of cosmetics, sun tan lotions, medicines and toiletries. (Some of you may wish to enter into the spirit of the eco holiday with your choice of shampoos etc.) Don't forget : passport, tickets and yoga mat. |

How to get to
Yuva Antalya Airport is at 3.5 hours distance. We offer pick up services to and from both Dalaman and Antalya Airports. We are
located in the village of Faralya, 14km from the town of Fethiye, near
the Ölüdeniz Lagoon.
Flights Charter flights from many UK airports fly direct to Dalaman usually on Mondays. When booking we suggest you check the times carefully (sometimes the return times from Dalaman can be at strange hours...).
Flight prices vary daily and are not fixed until booked. The rule of
thumb with most flights these days is the sooner you book the cheaper
the fare. Often, but not always, if you book far enough in advance you
will only be asked for a £50 deposit. |
|
Airport Transfers If you
are on a group holiday and your flights match those of others in the
group, then group transfer rates apply, Dalaman/Yuva (£15 each way, £30
return, per person). You may need to wait for others to arrive on
flights near to yours; there is a café in the coach park where you can
sit in the shade. If your
flight arrival and/or departure do not match, we will be happy to
arrange private transfers for you Dalaman/Yuva (£40 each way, £80
return, for up to 2 persons).
Arriving By Sea
Upon arrival The final approach is 15 minutes’ walk down a steep, unsurfaced forest road. (Vehicles can get down this road, and if you need a ride up or down, we can always provide it). Transport arrangements are as described. If you would like more flexibility, and you are a competent driver, we suggest you hire a car; a 4x4 is recommended. We can help to arrange this in advance, if you wish. |

Participants Comments “...I
enjoyed the whole experience. It’s difficult to do it justice using
words... When I read Brian’s comment in the brochure saying it was the
closest he’d been to paradise, my initial thought was that it must be a
bit exaggerated, but having been here I have to take that back.”
“Perfect unspoilt location, relaxing, peace and tranquillity, beautiful
sea and sunsets, helpful friendly host and Turkish hospitality. The
description in the brochure was very accurate but the holiday exceeded
expectations.”
