Beach
Cottages at Ashwem is located south to Arambol. The long coastline of
Ashwem has many palm groves which provide a green canopy all
along the shore. Our beach is far less crowded
than the other beaches in Goa, it is a great place to hangout!
This venue is lovely
and has everything you would want. Hidden in a private palm grove, close
to the beach, are ten extremely comfortable wooden beach cottages,
decorated with antique furniture. Each has air conditioning, western
style en-suite, sea views and a balcony or terrace.
The
beach is 2 minutes walk along a stone pathway through
the private palm grove.
This small resort has been carefully planned and is
quiet and environmentally friendly.

A warm, open minded and compassionate teacher, she teaches from the
heart drawing from her own experience and believes yoga to be a constant
discipline for healing, growth and transformation.
Tara’s classes are inspired from various Yoga disciplines including the
alignment of Iyengar yoga with the flow of Astanga Vinyasa and an
awareness of moving beyond the Asana.
She emphasises the union of breathe and movement to encourage the
individual to work to one’s “own edge”, moving beyond limitations of
body and mind, discovering freedom and stillness within. Her classes may
include Pranayama, Meditation and sometimes music to further aid the
healing process.
The
Yoga
There will be two Classes a day, except Wednesday and Saturday. The
morning session will begin with some breathing exercises and build into
a dynamic Vinyasa flow practice. The afternoon session will explore
restorative yoga, Pranayama, preparation and tools for developing a
meditation practice and elements of yoga philosophy.
Classes combine the alignment of Iyengar yoga with the flow of Astanga
Vinyasa, emphasising the union of breathe and movement. Pranayama and
Meditation techniques are also incorporated. Tara will lead you to flow
and let go of your limitations by encouraging the individual to work to
ones own “edge” to strengthen and detoxify. The class will be tailored
to suit all levels.
